Options for Home Schoolers We have two options for home schoolers: Individual Class Enrollment and Distance Learning. The ICE program is open to students in Jr. High and High School, and the DL program is open to students of all ages.

DL Program Students may also enroll in the Distance Learning program. This program offers each of the classes available in the ICE program, but students study at home, with parents as facilitators.
In the DL program, teachers prepare lesson plans and assignment sheets which are posted on the website on a weekly basis. The student completes the assignments at home and then submits them to the school for grading.
DL students receive report cards and transcripts from Lighthouse, and they may participate in graduation with on-site students.

Extra-Curricular Activities
ICE students enrolled in two or more classes and DL students may participate in extra-curricular activities with on-site LCA students. In addition, students may attend field trips and activities with the accompanying parents.
Parents are invited to participate in Parent Association activities.
